Costumes- Really?!

So far, here is what the boys have decided they want to be for Halloween:  The Titanic, a Navy ship, a German submarine, a World War I German, a Japanese person (honestly- from the mouths of babes!!), the solar system, the London Tower Bridge, and the Eiffel Tower.  Of them all, I fear the Eiffel Tower is the most reasonable!!!  I've got exactly twenty days to convince them to want to be something more... traditional... and also twenty days to figure out how we are going to handle Halloween being that the boys can't have any food dye and are in a rather sensitive period right now!
